About Organise My Site

OMS started with one workshop.

At Perth Truck Transmission Services, the owner was on older workshop software that was slow, hard to use, and cost too much time at the computer. Job templates, completed jobs, and invoices lived in spreadsheets. Paperwork piled up, and stock on the shelf did not match what the software showed.

Where it started

Website work for Perth Truck Transmission Services.

We built their website and worked closely with the workshop. The legacy software needed too much manual admin. Inventory was hard to track, so what was on the shelf rarely matched the system. That is why we built OMS.

How it began

How OMS was built.

We spent time in one workshop and saw the same steps on every job.

Story detail

The owner relied on older workshop software that was slow and awkward to use. Simple updates took too long at the desk. Job details, stock, and invoices were spread across the system, spreadsheets, and paperwork. Nothing sat on one job record.

What we saw

What kept going wrong.

These were the problems we kept seeing at Perth Truck Transmission Services. That is why we built something new.

Spreadsheets everywhere

Job templates, completed jobs, and invoices were tracked in separate spreadsheets because the software did not hold everything in one place.

Stock did not match the shelf

Inventory in the workshop did not match what the software showed. Updating stock levels took too much admin time.

Too much time at the computer

The owner spent too long on slow software and manual admin. That time should have stayed on running the workshop, not paperwork.
